Summary
I build test automation and release gates for cloud-native teams, and I test how their systems behave under load and failure. Leading QA at HEPAPI. Before that, QA engineering and consulting for fintech, e-commerce, telecom and cloud-service clients since 2018.
Experience
QA Manager, HEPAPI
2023 – Present · London · remote- Own QA strategy across product teams; introduced chaos engineering and resilience testing into the release process.
- Built the test automation pipelines in Java and Playwright that gate every release.
- Mentor the QA engineers. Release cycles got shorter once quality checks moved earlier in delivery.
QA Engineer, Firefly Inc.
2022 – 2023 · San Francisco · remote- Wrote Python service tests for GCP-hosted services and used BigQuery and Logs Explorer to debug from production logs.
- Worked day to day in Kubernetes-native environments alongside developers to ship on schedule.
QA Consultant, kloia
2019 – 2022 · London- Delivered automation consulting to more than ten e-commerce and fintech clients: UI, API, mobile and performance.
- Migrated and modernised legacy test suites to Selenium, Cucumber, Karate and Appium stacks in Python, Java, Ruby and JavaScript.
- Ran performance benchmarks with k6, Gatling and Locust; hosted webinars on mobile test platforms.
Software Developer, NETAS
2019 · İstanbul- Built SCIM and SSO integrations for a telecom client and migrated about 100,000 users to Azure AD; containerised deployments with Docker.
Software Developer, bisigortaci.com
2018 · İstanbul- Insurtech web platform on .NET Core with an MVC, n-tier layout. Most of the time went into fixing problems users reported.
Focus
- Automation architecture. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Karate and Pytest suites that a team can still maintain long after I leave. Page Object and BDD structure, reporting and CI are in from the first commit.
- Performance & resilience. Load and soak tests with k6, Gatling and Locust, fault injection with Gremlin. The point is to see the failure in a test run before a customer does.
- Cloud-native quality. Test environments on Kubernetes and Docker across GCP, AWS and Azure. Quality gates in GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines and GitLab CI. CKA certified.
- AI-assisted QA. Using LLMs for test design, output checks and regression triage, and writing the agents and skills that make that work repeatable.
